Introduction
We here at DogGone Solutions, view dog ownership much like parenting children. We raise our kids with a long list of "do's and don'ts" and hope that in the end we get a well rounded individual. Dog ownership and training is no different and our methods follow suit.
Kids go to school to learn... dogs go to training to learn. Kids go through development stages like the Terrible Two's and puberty... dogs do too. Parents learn over time how to properly communicate with their kids finding just the right way to deliver praise and criticsm, disappointment and celebration... dogs require much of the same. Kids learn which parent to ask for certain things... dogs know who to ask too! As you can see, there's a lot of common ground here.
With that theory obvious to us, we built DogGone Solutions with a school in mind. If you think back to your school days, an average week consisted of a whole bunch of prerequisite classes and some much looked forward to elective classes. You'll find those prerequisites for dogs under "Obedience". Our Obedience programs come in Kindergarten, Elementary, and Middle School levels. You'll find the fun-related stuff under "ExtraCurriculars". Our Electives consist of everything from Agility and Tricks to Recess!
Most of our programs are offered as Public School. Public School is your standard classroom setting. Many of these same programs are offered as Home School options as well allowing for personalized attention in your own home.
Like all schools, we wouldn't be complete without our own PTA... that's our Paw Trainer Association. You can find out more about becoming part of that under "DogGone PTA".
